## Description

Basic Engineering Concepts & Technologies, Inc. (BecTech) is a Small Business Program Management and Engineering Services provider to Department of War (DoW) Agencies. BecTech is seeking professional candidates to fill the position of full-time chief of staff to Aegis BMD program office at the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Program Office in Dahlgren, VA.

**Job Responsibilities**

- Support to the Aegis BMD Missile Engineering team for the MDA Program Office.
- Act as Chief of Staff to the Aegis BMD division. Manage multiple streams of effort, coordinating actions and collecting inputs. Helping to keep the organization on task and on schedule.
- Provide subject matter expertise in systems engineering, program management, configuration management, and data management for proposal reviews held by the Program Office.
- Provide clarity on tasking and track action items through completion.
- Develop and deliver critical programmatic reports, products, and weekly and monthly technical reports.
- Develop briefing products and executive correspondence for the Program Office.
- Help to effective manage a workforce of uniformed personnel, government civilian employees and contractors.
- Respond to requests for information.

**Required Education/Experience**

- Minimum of 15 years of relevant professional experience supporting missile defense, DoW engineering, systems engineering, program management, or related technical programs.
- Masters degree, or Bachelor's degree in a STEM, engineering, technical, or related field with 20 years experience in missile defense or major weapons systems programs.
- Experience supporting program offices, coordinating and collaborating across large organizations or enterprises, executive communications, action item tracking, customer briefings, and senior-level reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with government customers, prime contractors, subcontractors, and subject matter experts.
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- A Secret-level security clearance and the potential for a Top Secret clearance.

**Ada Specifications**

- Regular physical activity includes walking, climbing stairs, and standing; frequent period of prolonged sitting may be required.
- Ability to speak, read, hear, and write, with or without assistance.

**Other Requirements**

- 100% Onsite
- Travel: Less than 10% expected
