Assist in creating a positive team environment and be a responsible, dependable employee. Must pass a Criminal Background Check. **Education:** High School Diploma/GED **Education Details:** **Certification:** No **Certification Details:** **Years of Experience:** Minimum one (1) year experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. **Credit Check:** No **Valid/Unexpired Passport Book:** No **Valid/Unexpired Driver's License:** No ## Preferred Requirements - Basic Computer Knowledge, Microsoft Excel proficiency a plus. - Attention to detail is essential. ## Job Duties - Process payable's or receivables in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles using data entry. - Work with all areas of the organization to ensure proper coding and handling of invoices. - Ensure proper documentation and verify approval/authorization limits. - Work with vendors to resolve discrepancies and any other issues that may arise. - Match & mail accounts payable checks. - Account reconciliation. - Cash application and reconciliation. - General Ledger posting journal entries and month end close. - Gather vendor information for 1099 processing. - Maintain files, including filing of general ledger journal vouchers, accounts payable/receivable documentation and other miscellaneous filings. - Answer and direct incoming departmental calls appropriately. - Other duties as assigned. ## Physical Requirements The Physical Demands and Work Environment described here are a representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of the role.
