About the Opportunity
We're representing a leading national design-build contractor seeking an experienced Director of Engineering to oversee regional Data Center design operations. This is a strategic leadership position focused on engineering design excellence, innovation, and team development within large-scale construction and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of engineering design operations across multiple high-value Data Center projects.
- Drive the technical vision, design quality, and innovation for electrical and building systems.
- Oversee multi-disciplinary design teams and ensure alignment with project goals and client expectations.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute regional engineering strategies.
- Manage staffing, budgets, and resource planning for the engineering group.
- Guide the development of design documentation, sequence of operations, and system testing protocols.
- Conduct design reviews, value engineering, and technical risk assessments.
- Partner with preconstruction and business development teams to support proposals and client engagement.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related discipline.
