Job Requirements
- BS degree in Accounting
- 4+ years of experience in an industrial manufacturing setting, or 7+ years of general finance and auditing experience
- Experience with percentage of completion accounting
- Experience with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Experience with fully integrated ERP systems such as Oracle or IFS
- Strong analytical background with ability to interpret complex financial data and see overall business impact
- Ability to work onsite full-time
Preferred Skills
- CPA, CMA, or MBA
- Experience leading revenue recognition and project reporting for long-term or project-based contracts
- Experience with IFS configuration, user enhancements, and process optimization
- Experience in SOX-controlled environments and interaction with internal/external auditors
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in preparation, processing, consolidation, and analysis of monthly financial results
- Organize and lead all aspects of percentage of completion accounting revenue recognition and project financial reporting
- Assist in preparing business reports including capital projects, cost savings, financial metrics, and monthly presentations
- Lead and participate in ongoing user enhancements and process optimization of IFS software across the company
- Participate in development of the annual budget and strategic plan
- Participate in preparation, coordination, and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial projections
- Maintain and monitor financial reporting system interfaces
- Ensure local ERP financial results are accurately reported into corporate systems
- Maintain SOX procedures and support SOX and internal audits
- Perform reconciliations of various general ledger accounts
